Me and Robert Larsen did a mobile version of bergh.dk, the website of danish photographer Anders Bergh, earlier this summer. Today the site was awarded the prestigous Mobile Of The Day at The FWA.
The site is an addition to the already awarded flash-site, and even though it's made and optimized for the iOS platform, it also works as a fallback for the flash site. The mobile version plugs into the existing backend with some xml to json encoding, and sports hand-coded gesture recognition for swipe/zoom, CSS3 animations for optimized performance, and CSS Media Queries for adapting to different screen sizes. Everything packaged and wrapped in an elegant and smooth design, thanks to Robert. :)
